Clan MacInnes

Hello All,

If this is not the spot for this question please feel free to move it to where it fits best.

My paternal grandmother's maiden name was Kellie (born and raised in Scotland but I don't know which region). On a trip to Scotland in the 1980s my father learned that Kellies were aligned with Clan MacInnes. I am not sure if he was told that by a fast talking tour shop operator, or if he got that information from a more reputable source (ie a family member). In my own cursory research on the web I can only find Kellie/Kelly associated with Clan MacDonald, and then only in limited numbers.

So my question is: "Does anyone have any knowledge of Kellies being of the Clan MacInnes?"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
